Bayeux The Battle is a jacquard woven wall tapestry, made in Belgium. This tapestry is a representation of a part of the Norman army. The work is a reproduction of a part of an 11th-century tapestry, which is now on display in the Museum of Bayeux, France. The complete tapestry measures 70 meters in length. It represents the conquest of England by William the Conqueror, Duke of Normandy in 1066 at the Battle of Hastings.

I am utterly in love with this tapestry. It far exceeded my expectations, it looks way more expensive that what they charge for it!! The material is sturdy, the backing is great and the embroidery is just beautiful. I can't wait to hang this on my wall. Seller was very helpful and responded to my questions super quick!
