This beautiful tapestry boasts a centuries old scene recreated from an original 15th century Royal Coat of Arms. Woven originally for King Charles, the tapestry now hangs in the Museum of Antiquities in Rouen, France. Reflecting the theme of the House of Bourbons, a trio of mythical winged stags is depicted, a single creature in the middle of a fence area while the other are leaning in to enter, a pair of lions prowling on the outer edges. Two castles are shown in the right and left top corners while the middle stag holds the royal flag. This intriguing historical tapestry will make a dramatic addition to a large foyer or a family dining room. Imported and woven in Belgium from cotton, viscose and polyester blend. The tapestry has a lined back and tunnel for ease of hanging.
