Our Licome Gout Tapestry Cushion Cover centers on a historical extract from the 16th century Lady and the Unicorn tapestry. The original set of six tapestries were woven to represent the arms of Jean le Viste. Each represent one of the human senses, this one, named “The Taste”, depicts a woman dipping her finger in a compote held by a servant girl. Botanical and animal motifs fill the background.
