Chateau Bellevue is a flemish wall tapestry inspired from the Tentures des Maisons Royals, a set of 12 tapestries. They were woven at the Gobelins towards the end of the 17th century for Louis XIV. Each tapestry depicts a different castle at each month of the year. Here Chateau Bellevue is featured in an August landscape.
