Taking a scene from the original 18th-century Royal Residences tapestry, our Verdue Chateau Carriage Tapestry boasts the resplendent beauty of the Gobelins weavers. The textile family was commissioned by King Louis XIV to commemorate the properties. This soft-colored wall hanging depicts a fairy tale in the scene of a beautiful palace shown beyond a road with an ornate horse-drawn carriage approaching along the road below. The thread is dyed in subtle hues typical of French vintage textiles in dusty rose, blue and green. Woven in France from cotton/viscose/poly blend. Lined back and tunnel top for easy hanging.

Beautiful tapestry. The colors are vivid and it has beautiful craftsmanship. I gave it 4/5 stars because the product received is slightly different from the original photo. The original photo had a gold border but the product received has a brown border.
